The text book we're using for the Nail Enhancement Technology Course is;
The Encyclopedia of Nails. Jacqueline Jefford  & Ann Swain.
This is a picture of the 2nd edition. You may find a book that has a different cover/picture, but the contents is basically similar. So still get it.
I belive in using libraries to source this book, but you can buy a copy.

NAIL ART COMPETITIONS

I recently visited the Carribean.  The nail art standard is very high. We should take part in more events and even develop our own competitions - to keep our hand in.

CERTIFICATES

Yeheee! My students from last year received their certificates.  (In fact they are actually diplomas for Nail Technology Enhancement, but I'm not going to quibble over terminology) for a moment there I was holding my breath - I can't imagine why it took so long to be delivered!? At last they've arrived that's all that matters. I think the students have made an even split between those that have stayed in education to gain Level 3 or similar and those that are in employment. Now that they've got there bit of paper they can get their professional indemnity insurance etc., and show the world what they are made of. 

No one will know how pleased I am!! In fact ecstatic!! :)
